“Vavda” is a pavilion conceived parametrically in Revit. The design process began with the development of a conceptual mass defined by a series of curves in space. Interpolating between these curves produces a surface capable of receiving an applied component. The component, detailed on the following spread, is linked to the surface and automatically populates based on the surface geometry­­—a set of curves that can be changed at any point throughout the design process. The result of the populated component creates a woven condition.
